Three Individuals Charged for ‘Mirror Scam’ and Store Theft

The State Police of Caserta, during territorial control services in Maddaloni, charged three individuals for an attempted “mirror scam” and, in another instance, for a theft in a commercial establishment.
In particular, officers from the Maddaloni Police Station responded to a report from a woman who, while driving through the city streets in her car, heard the sound of a stone thrown by two occupants of an overtaking vehicle. The same individuals attempted, with dangerous maneuvers, to stop the woman to assess the damage from the alleged contact between the vehicles. Thanks to the descriptions provided, the two men, aged 21 and 28, known to law enforcement, were tracked down shortly after by the patrol and charged.
In another instance, following a report of theft inside a bakery, a 39-year-old was identified from initial investigation findings as the alleged perpetrator and reported to the judicial authorities.
